Owner Defined Measurements

You can use this tab to specify special measurements you want to take during a passage. Select the measurement type first, then the default unit of measure. Give this measurement a label that will appear on the main form within the Trip tabs. When you are recording a trip, you will be able to record values for these measurements. You do not need to use all 10 possible items. Delete all characters in the label field from the unused ones. You can clear a label entry by blocking it and pressing the backspace key or by putting the cursor at the beginning of the field and pressing the Delete key until all the characters are deleted. A quick way to clear them all is to tab to the entry, press the backspace key, and then tabbing to the next entry. Blank rows will be automatically removed by BoatExec.

The normal value is used as the default value for new entries. As you record a set of measurements, you will be warned if you go over your specified limits. If both upper and lower limits are zero, then no limit checking will be performed.
